4 Free Shadowdark Statblocks

I’ve got a lot of miniatures, and I’ve spent a lot of time painting them, and I want to be able to use them. Unfortunately, for many of the miniatures I have, Shadowdark doesn’t have any statblocks for them.

Here are four statblocks I’ve made for miniatures that I’ve got:

Hooked Terror

Large, beaked & hook-handed beasts who hunt their prey using echolocation

AC 13, HP 25, ATK 2 hook (near) +4 (2d6), MV near, S 4, D 0, C 2, I -2, W 1, Ch -2, AL N, LV 5

Echolocation. Can see all invisible creatures and objects as long as it can hear.

Hook. DC 15 STR or moved a near distance in any direction.

Offset Animal

Large panther-like beasts with tentacles covered in razor-like claws

AC 15, HP 27, ATK 2 tentacle +4 (2d4), MV near, S 4, D 2, C 3, I -2, W 1, Ch -1, AL N, LV 6

Displacement. Appears in a slightly different location to where it actually is. All attacks against it are at disadvantage.

Owl, Giant

An owl twice the size of a human

AC 11, HP 9, ATK 1 bite +3 (1d6), MV near (fly), S 3, D 1, C 0, I -3, W 1, Ch -3, AL N, LV 2

Merchant

Travelling traders who carry goods between settlements

AC 12, HP 4, ATK 1 shortsword +1 (1d6) or 1 dagger (close/near) +1 (1d4), MV near, S 1, D 1, C 0, I 0, W 0, Ch 2, AL N, LV 1
